Perfect Bake Sale Brownies

Makes: 24

3/4 cup butter (1 1/2 sticks)
1 cup packed brown sugar
2 cups (12 oz.) semisweet chocolate chips
3 large eggs, at room temperature
1 Tbsp. vanilla
2 tsp. baking powder
2 cups flour
Decoration: Confectioner's Sugar

1. Heat oven to 350* Line a 13x9 inch baking pan with foil, letting foil extend about 2 inches above pan at narrow ends.

2. Melt butter in a saucepan over med. heat. Add brown sugar and cook, stirring until sugar dissolves. Remove from heat, add 1 1/2 cups choc. chips and stir until melted and smooth.

3. Add eggs, vanilla and baking powder; stir briskly until well blended. Add flour and remaining 1/2 cup chocolate chips; stir until blended. Spread evenly in prepared pan.

4. Bake 25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean from center.

5. Remove from pan by lifting foil by endes to a cutting board. Cut into 2 inch squares and sprinkle with confectioners sugar.
